Weekly Words To Live By
Time for Cottage Industry's Weekly Words to Live By. Feel free to join in.
Being a cheerful person doesn't mean that life does not share its occasional discontent; it just means you refuse to let it overwhelm you.
I have been re-reading the lovely book "Earth Prayers" a wonderful collection of readings from around the World. Here is my contribution to words to live by. This is an Ojibway Prayer.(More properly know as Nishanabi {the people})
Grandfather Look at our brokenness.
We know that in all creation Only the human family Has strayed from the Sacred Way.
We know that we are the ones Who are divided And we are the ones Who must come back together To walk in the Sacred Way
Grandfather, Sacred One, Teach us love, compassion, and honour That we may heal the earth And heal each other.
Hi Peggy, Do you ever call him "Tinker the Stinker?" LOL! I know what you mean tho about time getting away from you. I think I put too much pressure on myself to get too many things done in one day. In any event, enjoy that book and those magazines. I have stacks of those myself, too.
