The Education of Little Tree

If you haven't seen this movie yet then you really really must! Its about an 8yr old boy sent to his grandparents to live after his parents die. They live in the mountains of TN in the 1930's and the movie has lots of wonderful scenery of the different seasons besides having a great story of all the joy, setbacks and adventures this boy has each day.

hi Peggy, I see you discovered The Education of Little Tree. It's an awesome story, and so beautiful. I heard Christine Sweet read a chapter of it one MPR one Saturday, and went looking for the book. I found it on a library book sale. If you have never read it, I'd be happy to send it along to you. The written story is even more beautiful and rich in detail than the movie.
There is an email addy over under my profile just drop me a line with your snail mail and I'll scoot it along to you. It's one of my favorite books..*VBS*
