This blog is a journal of the simple living on a small 2 and a half acre farm. The ups and downs. The good and the not so good. Adventures of Hidden Haven animals and some of my own. The sharing of our frugal, hardworking, attempt to be as self sufficient as possible. Please stop by often as we love company!
I got a beautiful card from Melissa. The picture is of downtown Memphis (a place I have been several times and love!) and a nice friendly note written on the back. Feels like we have been friends forever! Thank You Mellissa!
Blessings to you Peggy. How's your fall decorating coming along? All done? We bought 2 pots of Chrysanthemums. I heard a gardening show host say that they need to be in the ground 6 weeks before a frost to let the roots take hold and that a hard frost can lift them right out of the ground. He says they are so cheap he just throws them on the compost heap when fall is over. Hmmm, I think I'll still keep hoping mine make it thru till spring. I've got one from last year, so I have, Mr. Gardening man!
