This blog is a journal of the simple living on a small 2 and a half acre farm. The ups and downs. The good and the not so good. Adventures of Hidden Haven animals and some of my own. The sharing of our frugal, hardworking, attempt to be as self sufficient as possible. Please stop by often as we love company!

Ms. Robyn emailed us our list for the postcard swap and I am sooooooo excited! I have mine ready to go out in the morning mail. I enjoyed looking at the postcards I had here at home and trying to match them to what I thought my internet friends would enjoy. On my first mailing to 2 of the ladies on the list I am sending old vintage postcards. As in old I mean postcatds that were mailed to someone in the 30's or 40's and I happened upon them at auctions or second hand stores. So I am breaking one of the rules as to mail postcards only since I had to put them in an envelope. I picked them because they were special to me and they seemed perfect for the person. So if you are one that get's a "used" postcard its not because I was being cheap it is because its a vintage card from my special collection. And if you didn't get one this time... you will next mailing. Thanks again Robyn for such a delightful swap!

Oh Peggy, I'm so excited too! I will be getting my cards together this weekend as I am very busy and preoccupied at the moment with getting my boy off safely.
I am excited too. Enjoy the swap, it is a nice easy relaxed way to keep in touch !
