Boy Did I Get Mail!!!

The mail lady drove all the way down my dirt lane today to give me not 1 but 2 packages!! The first one was from my vintage swap partner Laurie. She found time to send me this wonderful package after having to leave her home during a hurricane. I have a lovely onion sack, a small handpainted picture of a cottage on wood,2 handpainted tea towels,a wooden owl that says; be not simply good... be good for something. A cooking year around booklet, Women's Circle Home Cooking booklet, Jams and Jellies for gift giving booklet! Thank you so much Laurie, I love everything!

My second package was my seasonal care package and it came from Ang over at homemakerang. Not only did I get a lovley tin with midsummer peach decaffinated tea inside, a delightful smelling handmade eucalyptus mint soap, a bottle of pure honey... I got little pumpkins(they are real!),a small bundle of wheat and leaves (I think from her own tree)! This season care package is perfect for me! You did well Ang and thank you so very much! Think I will go have a cup of tea with honey...

I love to look at all your treasure troves you receive. I used to belong to a group and we all did this.......
As our children got older and went on to University we were all too broke to keep it up.
Giggles!
Love and hugs

Such beautiful things...I use to belong to 2 swap groups but they both folded...getting mail is fun... but shopping for the swap is more fun :)
