Cookbook
Here is the cookbook that my daughter gave me. She picked it up at a secondhand store. It was copyrighted in 1982. It tells you how to read your ration books and how to shop with them. Also gives you lots of ideals for substituting ingredients and still eat healthy. Everything is in ounces instead of cup, half cup etc. and it used tins of dried eggs alot. I am enjoying reading how the ladies made such good meals with next to nothing in the pantry. So Finn this is the picture of the book and I will post a few recipes along from it.Meanwhile for a couple of really great recipes check out my friend at Homemaking on the Homestead. She has some great gift recipe ideals along with a beautiful gingerbread house her daughters made.http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/quiverfull/ Everyone remember to relax and enjoy the season... Christmas is almost here. If it isn't done by now don't worry about it just sit back and enjoy the magic of Christmas!!
