My wall of unknown. These are pictures of people I don't even know found in auction boxes, given to me, found at thrift stores, etc. I just thought they needed a home so they are now my unknown family. I love looking at the pictures and making up stories about their lives. Today our cold weather has come in. We didn't get snow but several counties around us did. I have a nice fire going with the tea kettle on. I am going to clean the book shelves today. I need to sort out and get rid of some books as they are overtaking the house. I love books and hate to part with any but will keep my favorites and pass the others on to friends, family and even sell some of the how to's on ebay. Enjoy your day, enjoy your home, enjoy your family and friends and then enjoy a cup of tea and a good book! Leave you with my scripture reading and thought for the day:
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also you are called in one body. Colossians 3:15
Peace with God!! It expresses so much. Peace is greater than joy, or comfort, or rest.

Love your wall of unknowns Peggy..*VBS* But I am about "connections", so of course I would love all those pieces of the past...and you too, dear friend for sharing your home with them..*VBS*
wow that's a really interesting idea with the photos - I never thought of that. Must try it...
Love that wall Peggy - a gorgeous thing to do :)
i Peggy,
I love your walls...such a creative lady! What touched me the most was what you wrote concerning peace....oh how I understand that...if you have peace, thne the rest, joy and comfort ALWAYS comes. Thank you for saying this!!
Blessings to you dear,
Mindy
Peggy, I love your pictures! We have a portrait of an elderly lady we bought at an auction for $1.00. A friend made us a nice oak frame for her. I wondor what her life was like. I think its great that you have this special collection. Thanks for missing me the last few days when I've been so busy helping carry and store things out of the way for the remodeling. I love the verse of scripture at the end of your post. How precious peace is and to have peace with God is what every living soul needs if only they knew it.
