Today the sun is shining and a cold front is coming through. I have a pot of navy beans on the back of the woodstove simmering, tea kettle is on and I have finished my morning devotions ready to start a new day. Laundry is going and I am cleaning and dusting our bedroom. While just make the guest room extra nice? After I get the room all nice, tidy and smelling fresh I am going to head outside and do some yard work. Will leave you with a verse and thought for the day:
Thou shalt be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God. Isaiah 62:3
You take a diamond and throw it down in the dirt and filth, and put your foot on it and grind it in, and leave it there, sinking and soiling, day after day, year after year, and when somebody comes along and picks it out, how much will it gleam for Him at first? Yet the diamond is there.

Peggy,
Love that verse. God will make something beautiful out of each of our lives if we'll just let Him!

Hi Peggy, the sausage and cabbage smells good, all the way up here to WI..*VBG* Good for you for making everything tidy.

And about the quilt frame in the barn(?), I'd be happy to visit and teach you to use it...*VBS* Hugs as always dear friend, Finn

Oh, it all sounds so heavenly! This weekend I am going to wallow in the home life (haven't had a single quiet weekend at home in almost 2 months!). Gardening and cooking are in definite order. Loving all your photos from your place too!
