Here are more pictures of the babies.
We have: feather footed and cochin bantams along with australorps, giants, turkens, buff rocks, sussex, brahmas, and orpingtons, which is a mix of brown layers. The bigger ones seem to get along with the bantams even though the bantams are so tiny. Having fun being a mother hen!

Aww how cute! I'd like to touch them! Well I better don't think at touching any bids because we have the bird flue over here in Germany that the wild birds brought and now our poor hens, chicks etc. are not allowed to go out anymore. That's so sad!

They sure are gorgeous. It will be fun to watch them grow and change. Give one a cuddle for me ;)

we are soon to order our pullets. I just love them for the first little while, then they become just one more chore on the farm. Messy little ones at that. We have auracaunas and enjoy their green eggs !

I'm going to be raising chicks for the first time soon. Will be getting day-old chicks in April. I'm planning on starting them off in a cardboard box; it looks like that's what you've done.

How many chicks are in the box and how big is the box?

How long do you expect that box to hold them before you need to separate them into multiple boxes or move them to the coop/house?
