How Did You Spend Your Saturday?

I spent mine in the kitchen. We didn't get snow, just lots and lots of rain. Which will be ice tomorrow since the cold temps are getting here tonight instead of last night. (just my luck) My grandkids got snow so at least some of the family is having fun. With no snow to play in and not wanting to play in the rain I decided to work on my kitchen. I changed the valances
Decided to put the rooster ones back up. Then I cleaned my kitchen rug.
Can you tell I like roosters? Then I had to rehang my vintage sifters but decided to hang them over the sink instead of back on the valance.

But that's not all I did today..... I painted my fridge!!!!! It was off white and now its desert storm beige. While hanging valances I kept looking at the fridge and wishing I could change it so I did! It has 3 coats of paint with sealer inbetween each coat and it looks so good! (lots better than the picture shows).... That's how I spent my Saturday, now I have to figure out how I am going to spend my Saturday night!!!!

And they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus. Acts 4:13

To live so that when people spoke of me at all, the most marked thing they could say about me would be, not how I dressed, or appeared, or talked, but how strong my faith in the Lord Jesus was, and how it colored all my words and acts. Wouldn't that be a grand ambition?

My mother always used a sifter. I don't even own one. I don't think they are necessary with todays flour.

My Floridian lady fair loves roosters too. I had to promise we can buy some to have around the farm to match the kitchen table cloth she bought me at Christmas.

This bachelor's home is going to be transformed beyond recognition!!! I am building a sewing room. . . pray for me ;)

Want to come and reorganise my kitchen?? I love yours and the roosters are soooo cool. As for sifters I have one that my Grandmother used in her caravan when they went on holidays. Why you would need a sifter on holidays I don't know - never got around to asking her. Still it sits in the cupboard and is used often. Have a wonderful day

Lol -- I am a vertiable warehouse of chicken items - against my will. My in-laws got the idea that I like to collect chicken items, so nary a birthday or a holiday goes by that I don't receive some piece of chickien clutter.
