Another Beautiful Day

Another nice day to be outside. I made the temporary shelter for the chicks a little bigger and put some poles in for them to roost on.... They love it! Can't wait to get a real chicken coop for them but that will wait till William gets home. I watered my flowers and cleaned out a few flower beds. I built a raised bed for my okra and have it soaking to plant this evening. Going to build another bed for some more green beans this evening when its a little cooler outside. I came in to get something to drink and the computer called my name. Guess I had better get back at it before I get too lazy from sitting here. Have a blessed day and enjoy your yard or garden!

Oh, if you have problems with rabbits in your garden.... be thankful you don't have this one running around! He is raised by a gentleman in Germany so watch out Carol.

Wow. That's a beautiful rabbit, bigger than a dog!! I miss my mom's garden. She used to grow okra and beans, etc. She would always plant on Good Friday. I've tried to get her to garden since moving in with us but she doesn't seem interested any more (she's 82). Oh well, guess I should just get out there myself! Enjoy your nice weather!

Peggy, I looked at my blog this morning to find you had visited during the night. I didn't think anyone would be interested. I have visited the homestead, what a lovely place. I also love gardening & growing veg but on a much smaller scale. I have already been out today. Thanks for your comment , best wishes Wendy

I love your swing!

I saw a rabbit like that at the big fair up in PA last year, I couldn't believe how big it was.

Yeah it was a beautiful day yesterday.

I hope you enjoyed it, I know I did.

Wonderful pictures. I am jealous of your garden. It is so hard sometimes being a city gal..
Loved the rabbit. It made me think of my grandpa. He use to set traps for them, and when he caught them my grandma would fry them up for supper. He would have liked that one!
