Spring Time at the Homestead

Planted beans, cucumbers, squash, lots of flowers and more tomato plants today. Did more raking, cleaned up the chicken pen and dog lot. Watered the things I planted, filled the bird feeders, hauled off the trash and visited with my neighbor Fran.... nice day... how was yours?

Peggy, I LOVE your pictures! I haven't been as busy as you...I cleaned out the linen closet and cleaned the guest room...hmm guess thats about it. I had insomnia last night and was up for hours so today didn't give me much 'get up and go'....smile.

Whoa! You have had a busy day to say the least!

I did wash some windows. It's still a little cool here. I looked at flowers today at Lowe's, but the begonia's they had out were all killed by the frost this weekend. I think I'll hold off a week or two. I have been moving some perinneals around in the flower garden.

Love the pictures!

In Germany it's cold, I can do nothing in the moment. In some parts we have snow!

I had a busy weekend too, but I didn't do that much work around the house, I was out and enjoyed the spring though. I love springtime, a time for new hope, new life!

The pictures are beautiful!

Are all those pics taken recently? I envy your strawberry and dogwood. Our strawberries are just beginning to leaf out and our dogwoods - nothing at all yet. Looks like you have Azaleas going gangbusters, too!

Such a productive day it makes me tired reading about it :)

Oh, some of my asparagus came up so the 18F the night after planting didn't kill them all. Yippee!
