What To Do When Heat Index Is Over 100

Canoe trip up Lumbee River (so we could float back)

Raigun on her first canoe ride and fishing trip

PopPop and Raigun with the pike Raigun caught all by herself. Raigun named him John and said he was her friend and we couldn't eat him. So after pictures PopPop let John go so he could be with his family. Will is William's grandson and has been fishing with PopPop alot so wasn't disappointed when he didn't catch a fish this time. It was a very very hot and humid day but was nice floating along the river under the trees. The pool from last post is my neighbors but she is very kind to let us use it whenever we wish. Raigun says the pool was the second best day of her life. Today was the best day of her life according to her!

How wonderful. We used to do exactly the same thing when I was little. Now, when we visit Mum, we use next doors pool... and they have become such wonderfully close friends to us. You posts are lovely... much love, Nicole xox
