Concord Grape Jelly

We have a few small (they are growing) concord grape vines. Today I noticed there was enough grapes ripe enough to make jelly. The birds and I have been eating most of them as they ripen. So I went from this
To making 10 jars of this:
Now I am waiting for my homemade spaghetti sauce to cook so I can start filling jars for canning that too. I can hardly wait for winter!

Hello Peggy ~ the season are marching along, waiting for nobody. Nearly Springtime here, as your Fall is getting closer.
It looks like you will be well prepared for your colder months.
Take care and I hope you have a lovely week, Kali :)

Peggy, I stopped in to see what you had been up to and found we had pretty much been up to the same thing...working in a hot kitchen with the anticipation of enjoying the harvest come winter! Blessings to you my friend as you continue to prepare for winter.

I was so happy to have made some strawberry jelly with my boys this summer. I can't imagine how wonderful it would be to make my own spaghetti sauce. My husband wants to make his own Ketchup.

What a blessing it is to read your blog.
I also loved the music!

I have been reading up on the last few days at Hidden Haven and I must tell you Ms Peggy... how much I appreciate having you as a friend. Mum sends her love too, though is nursing Poppy, who is keeping her very busy. She is standing in her kitchen making pies giving you a big wave. We adore you and Hidden Haven Peggy. Much love xox.

Sounds yummy! Every time I see grape jelly it reminds me of a baby pic. of my husband,(he was about 2) with one hand in the jelly jar happy as a lark. You could tell he had been sitting there devouring it for quite some time because it was all over his face and half the grape jelly was gone.
Love this song; how did you know this is one of my favorites?

Peggy, you nver cease to amaze me with all your talents. I have never canned anything...although someday I would like to learn. I have always wanted to make strawberry jam.
