This blog is a journal of the simple living on a small 2 and a half acre farm. The ups and downs. The good and the not so good. Adventures of Hidden Haven animals and some of my own. The sharing of our frugal, hardworking, attempt to be as self sufficient as possible. Please stop by often as we love company!

Black Friday
Things are a little crazy around the homestead at the moment. Last night I needed to vent but was the only one at home. Thank goodness for email and friends! Philip from Tossing Pebbles sent this poem to me weeks ago and I enjoyed it then but think I really need today. Wishing each of you a good day and hope you aren't getting trampled in the shopping madness.

I don't do any holiday shopping the day after Christmas..cluck cluck cluck.
Thank you for sharing. I have heard that poem recited on a tape I have but never knew who wrote it.
Very nice. I only went to JoAnn's Fabric and I was very blessed on timing. No problems.
Peggy, I am glad you liked the poem. It reminded me of you as you seem to start your day on a postive note "feeling close to God". This carries you through your busy schedule. Being an early riser myself, I find the mornings inspiring.
