This and That
Made a loaf of honey whole wheat bread this morning. Shipped off several packages of soaps and in a rush to get to the post office I knocked over a bottle of cotton blossom essential oil so my parcels and myself smelled really good! While standing in line at the post office everyone kept coming in commenting on how nice it smelled in there. The postal ladies thanked me. Ms. Diva seems to like her new milker (EZudder) that we purchased. Makes milking easier for her and faster for us. She and Nitro have settled down into a ole married couple. They seem to get along really well these days. Will see as Diva gets bigger and moodier with her pregnancy. We are hoping she is bred and will have babies around the 23rd or 24th of May. Will know for sure if she doesn't come in season this month. My teen chicks are eating me out of house and home! They are hungry 24-7. You feed them and 5 minutes later there is not one speck of feed and they are crying for more. The bigger chickens have finally slowed down on their egg laying for the winter. I am happy about that. The rabbit hotel will be finished today and we will put Thumper and Flower in their private suites tomorrow. Flower should be having babies in another week and half. We have had such warm weather here the tulips, daffodils, iris are trying to come up. Hopefully it will turn cold soon and stay that way for a couple months. Have Christmas decorations to put away and taxes to work on so everyone have a great day and count those blessings, no matter how small they may seem.

That bread looks really yummy. It looks like it will be a harvest of babies at your homestead this spring. I hear you on the weather...it needs to be colder.
Peggy, I hope that all the babies coming to your homestead will be healthy.
I hope to be ordering some of your Good Goat Milk Soap soon.
