Diva Update

For those of you that entered the contest here are some updated photos of Diva. She is getting HUGE! I have cut back on her feed alittle the last month so she won't be too fat from eating when she goes in labor. She has decided she doesn't want carrots anymore but she can't get enough of the apple raisin horse cookies. She will actually stand and cry for them if she sees the bag. I have started locking her in her stall at night with fresh water and some alfalfa to munch on. Doing that so she can have some alone time away from Sammi and Nitro. She seems to enjoy it and doesn't cry to get out. I have my baby monitor all ready to hook up so I can hear her during the night. I am going to wait and put it out there around the first week of May. Yes, I am being over protective but its my first goat kid delivery and I want it to go smoothly. (For Diva and me) I am worried that Nitro is so big that she might have a hard time delivering but I have seen other goats smaller than her that delivered beautiful kids from Nitro. Well anyway here are photos from today and if you want to change your guesses you can and if you haven't guessed yet then go here and comment on date, time, how many and you might just win some Diva Soaps!

I will just let the others guess and just wait here and watch for her to deliver...Poor thing I feel sorry for her. She looks so uncomfortable!! I hope everything goes okay for her. I have enjoyed learning about her for all these months. Funny that I would love getting to know about Miss Diva. but I love animals...Thanks for stopping by Peggy...Sandy

Good luck - hope the delivery goes smoothly for both Miss Diva and you! I'm not guessing how many - will love each and every one though. Last teeny tiny kids I viewed were at writer Carl Sandburg's historic home, "Connemara" in Flat Rock, NC. They were direct descendents of his original goats - and such a beautiful spot to be raised in.

Will be thinking of you and checking back often - meanwhile enjoying the delicious goat's milk brie I bought at Trader Joe's this week, ha! ha!

Yes Good Luck! Another Miss Diva on the way...or 2,3,4...I'll be checking in on you...I have a question about my soaps~ can I put them all in a big jar? Together? I sold several at the show, but the weather was so bad we just didn't have a lot of folks there...I need to store them. I thought about buying one of those big jars at Wal-Mart with a glass lid~ I'm going today to the store, hope you see this before I go...thanks, Tina
