Farming 101

Wondering why there have been no posts about the animals? Wondering why there have been no posts about whats been going on around the homestead? Wondering anything at all??? LOL Well the reason is 4 of my 9 grandchildren are visiting for a week.
The last time they came to visit there were only dogs, cats, and Bud the iguana here. They are wanting to see and do it all. Woody, Hope, Zack and Julie have been helping feed, water, milk and even walked the dogs then came back and took the goats on a walk. Needless to say I am already tired and the day isn't over yet. We are having a bonfire tonight so we can roast hotdogs and make s'mores. Goodbye diet, hello chocolate!

I believe all children should get to go to the farm for a week. I sent my kids to my sisters. I might have to get one so that when I have grandchildren we can do the farm thing.

Peggy - bet you're ready for a "farm vacation" too - on someone else's farm where you are the guest and being waited on! Lovely experience for the grandchildren though - nothing like the country for kids.
Rest up.
Hugs, Mary.
