They Made It!
The grands made it all night in their cabin. They rode backs around the yard till it got dark. They were thinking about coming in and I joined them around the campfire for story telling and talking. They told me stories their mom had told them about growing up and I told them stories their mom had "forgot" to tell them about her growing up years. I also told them that they had promised if they could build the cabin they would stay in it all night. So I wanted them to at least give it a try before saying they wanted to come inside. They sat around the campfire for a little longer and when I looked out the window they were in their cabin. A few minutes later I walked out and they were sound asleep. I had to wake them up this morning as it started raining. They gathered all their items and came inside. This afternoon they are going to try their hand at making their own soaps to take home. We have played Win Lose or Draw this morning and watched a movie. We have to run to the post office to mail some items then the soap shop gets attacked!

You are having a good time....but how long do they stay? Sandy
Ummmm Peggy? You do realize they won't want to leave eh? lol Yeaaaaah for them, making it all night in their cabin..I'm quite impressed with the cabin they built!! Yikes, I can't get over how high two of them climbed to hide in the tree! Every picture made me smile...you can see how much fun they are having:-) xox
What wonderful memories you are making. Oh, to be a kid again. It's so rare that kids these days get to experience what we did when we were their age. You're just the best.
Hooray for them...what an accomplishment!
You are giving your grandchildren the most wonderful memories to treasure! Not many children get chances to do things like that these days. How nice to hear the grandson with the video games has found other things more interesting!
They are having a REAL childhood there with you.
what great times:)
Looks like a lot of fun!
Love the goats :)
I am glad they made it all night. They will remember all the fun they had and sleeping out in a cabin they made. Great fun and memories!!!
