This and That

The day is coming to an end and I am almost ready to sit and relax for a bit. William and I got alot done today and then he had to head for SC to pick up his load heading for MO. He got all the wood we cut yesterday split while I cleaned out some of the pens. Killer now has 4 baby chicks so I had to be on my toes cleaning her pen. We emptied and cleaned out the geese and duck swimming pond twice just to have the geese jumping right back in splashing water everywhere. They had a good day. Fred the turkey has a sore foot as he and John Henry the rooster got into another fight. Bud is doing great! He is enjoy being back home. I put Einstein in the pen with him and they are getting along really well. We finally got the uhaul we use for storage moved. Wayne is building a milking stall and storage room for feed and hay. Then will add a stall for Nitro and we will fence in the area beside the goat pen and move him over. He will be able to see the girls but not be such a pest. We got alot of leaves raked this weekend. Grilled out steaks one night as Williams daughter and family were visiting. They took a bunny home with them. Have all the spotted ones promised just need to place a ad for the other babies. Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I will spend the rest of the week thinking today is Monday and be behind a day all week. The photo is one I took yesterday while William was driving.

You have been really busy I know but I wish that you had stopped by today to see our virtual birthday party for our friend Melli. She turned 50 today and several of us gave her a big birthday bang!! You need to rest it sounds like..Blessings...

Kansas City is about 150 miles or so from Jefferson City, not too far but probably too far for a meeting!
