In Memory Of My Mother

Today would have been my mother's birthday. I would have called her first thing to tell her happy birthday and the first thing she would have told me was how many cards she had received. She and one of her friends always had a thing going on who would get the most birthday and Christmas cards.

Here is a post I wrote on a past birthday and wanted to share again

cherish your mothers for they are a blessing and leave a big ache in our hearts when they are no longer with us.

HI Peggy, My thoughts and Prayers are with you,Friend! .I know how hard it is to be without a Mother.Life is never the same. So True if your Mother is living tell her how much you Love her.
I had the honor to be caretaker for both my parents. I take comfort in knowing one day we will be together again.
It's those sweet memories that keeps us going huh?;o)

{{{{{{Peggy}}}}} I'm sorry. Today must be so hard for you. I'm saying a prayer for you today. I can't imagine the hole left in one's heart when one's mother has gone.

Aaahhh Peggy, I know that ache as well. I lost my Mom Bonnie in October of 2005. Her birthday was just November 21. Big hugs to you. I went back and read about your Mom. You were as blessed as I was!!

I understand, even after over 20 years I still miss my mom, so much I want to tell her, ask her, share with her still.

((((Sis)))) I've just read the story of your mother and what a truly amazing woman she was. I think she passed a lot of her integrity to you and I know she would be so proud of you today. Happy Birthday to Mother, may she always live through your heart:-) xoxo

I read the story of your mother and you are a lucky lady to have had such a mother in your life!
She sounds like a wonderful woman, just like you.

I read the tribute to your mother. . .very nice. She lived a life of character, courage and faith, facing Life as it came. What more can one do to be worthy of the gift of Life.
