Even on Christmas day life goes on around the homestead. I sat up with Fran last night as she wasn't sleepy and as she said couldn't shut her mind down for the night. We sang Christmas carols, I decorated her Charlie Brown tree, she told me about Christmas when she was a child. We just enjoyed the night. This morning it was exchange gifts with our neighbors and cook Christmas dinner. We had our hired hand eat with us and gave him his gift. Fran's granddaughter came by and brought us a nice Christmas tray with homemade goodies on it. We took the dogs for a walk and then it was time to feed again. Its getting pretty bad when the animals think you have to wait on them and feed them personally out of their own dish! The day didn't slow down at all for Christmas and now its come and gone. Hope yours was a very blessed one!
