Ms. Fran

Please keep Fran in your thoughts and prayers. This morning she was unable to walk or move her legs so her granddaughter and I took her to the doctor. He promptly called a ambulance to take her to the hospital where she laid on a stretcher in emergency from noon till 10:30pm. They aren't sure if she has had another stroke, mild heart attack or having problems from a bad fall she had at the rehab center she was in. The fall is why the family brought her home. She has a huge bump on the back of her head and her neck hurts so bad she can't hold her head up. She isn't doing very well at the moment. She and I entertained the emergency room by singing Christmas carols and then every old hymn we could think of. Fran has a beautiful voice. I do not. LOL. But please pray she gets through this and comes home. She isn't looking or doing very well at the moment. I felt so bad leaving her tonight but ICU won't let you stay in the room. I will be back there first thing in the morning and let her know she has lots of prayers going up for her. Thanks!

Oh...I so hate to hear of this...I am praying for Fran's speedy recovery....I would have yanked her out of re-hab, too...no excuse for a fall like that...my daughter in law is getting her physical therapy doctrate as we speak (yea...when I was young it was a bachelors degree...then it was a masters degree for PT...now they are changing it over to a Doctratate of science with a physical therapy masters...or something like that)...she has about 18 months left to complete...she is so interested in working with the elderly...wished she had her liscense...she would be awesome to come up and stay with Fran till she finished rehabbing...

Send her my love, hugs and warm fuzzy wishes...and prayers...

Blessings...
Teresa

Peggy , You and dear Ms Fran are in my thoughts and prayers. You are truly a special angel for looking out for her and inspiring her to keep going. I can just see the two of you singing.

Your christmas decorations look wonderful. I received my stocking from Kathleen , have posted it on my blog.
