This blog is a journal of the simple living on a small 2 and a half acre farm. The ups and downs. The good and the not so good. Adventures of Hidden Haven animals and some of my own. The sharing of our frugal, hardworking, attempt to be as self sufficient as possible. Please stop by often as we love company!
What else would you do with a old wheelbarrow bottom? All 8 babies took a nice nap together. You can see their disbudding is healing nicely and the hair will grow back soon on their heads so you won't see anything was done at all.
Awwww, Peggy, this is the most precious photo!! I love to check in on you and what you're up to on your sweet farm. You amaze me with all you do....and I so love your blog ~ xxoo, Dawn
That's adorable! Look at all those mop-capped noggins! I hated doing the disbudding--but I was sort of proud I didn't get any scurring my first time out. I hate scurs, nothing but trouble when you get them.

disbudding is my least favorit goat chore. What a fantastic picture of your babies. Can't wait till I have some of my own next year
