Today we will be disbudding Diva's babies. Its a painful thing that has to be done in order to register them. Then next week we will have to do the same to Sammi's. Hope everyone has a blessed week.
This blog is a journal of the simple living on a small 2 and a half acre farm. The ups and downs. The good and the not so good. Adventures of Hidden Haven animals and some of my own. The sharing of our frugal, hardworking, attempt to be as self sufficient as possible. Please stop by often as we love company!

I love the names your new "kids" have! I love the markings and colours that Swea Pea has. Um...what is debudding? I'm almost afraid to ask...wait, is it their horns? Why do you have to debud to register them? Where do you register goats? Do people buy them to breed them? For pets?
As you can see, I am no farm girl. Although your blog charms the heck out of me! So... how much do goats poop anyway? : )
They are so adorable! Sammi should be very proud!
Oh, Yeah!!! I was so glad to see the new babies when I clicked over. Glad Sammi's labor is over. Have fun playing with the new little ones:)

Well thank God.... Sammi's babies are beautiful. I was starting to think she was just going to carry them forever and never share them.
Have a blessed day.

They are all so adorable. I can't believe that Sammi had 4 babies!!! Wow!!! You have your hands full with all those little ones about!!!
Really gorgeous babes, Peggy. Congrats again. You are such a great goat auntie! I love reading about them.
Thanks for more photos of the babies.... I never get tired of them and your home.
The goats can be horned and registered with the American Dairy Goat Assoc.

See item #8. Most of my goats are horned. All you babies are good looking kids!!
I cannot believe how many goats you have now! it must be such fun.. they are all so cute.
I am way behind in all of this.. did you sell Brown Robyn (I would read back, but I am off to a meeting in 5 mins!)
Poor babys.....they are beautiful, and I don't know how you do it... judy
Peggy,
The kids are beautiful. I'm so glad that you shared photos. The boys and I still haven't been back to the farm. I've been down with flu and it's nasty, so didn't get to go again today.
Enjoyed my visit, as always.
Blessings,
Mary
