Catching Up

William is in Kansas. Thanks so much to our friends and blog neighbors Carol and Terry for helping him get things straightened out so he can get back on the road again. They have been a big blessing to both of us. He has really enjoyed being able to help Terry work on trucks in his shop.
I weeded and mulched some of the flower and veggie beds today. I also set out 3 tomato plants. It was 83F today and suppose to be the same for the next few days. Felt bad when William called and told me it was cold, windy and snowing. But only for a few minutes. :)

I am finally getting over this virus I have had for almost a week. Starting to get energy back and get things done without getting tired.

Thank you so much for the lovely sympathy cards and kind words. Each one really touched and means alot to me. I am very blessed to have such wonderful caring blog neighbors. I still get sad when working outside and see the path Fran and I used to each others house. Its hard knowing she will never be sitting on her porch watching as I feed the goats or calling to talk about our day. Your prayers, cards, emails have really helped alot.

I finally got caught up on all the soap orders. Now I just need to restock my supply. I have none in my shop to fill orders with so need to get busy making and restocking.

Carol and Lisa I haven't forgotten your Godmother shirts. I just need to do alittle more work on them and will get them out in the mail over the weekend.

I am trying to get all our books ready for taxes. I am slowly getting those caught up and getting my desk straightened out. Just don't have enough hours in the day and I love sleeping too much to give up my nights!

I have a catering job for next month. I made the food for after Fran's service and had a lady hire me for her daughters graduation party. I use to cater when I lived in Fl but got away from it when I moved back to NC.

Sweet Pea is getting sweeter. All the babies are eating grain and hay and cutting down on nursing so much which is making Diva and Sammi happy. Carol, Sweet Pea hopes you get to visit before she has babies!

I hope everyone has a blessed weekend!!

Virus, I did not know that you were sick. Hope that you feel better quickly. i know what it is like to feel bad. Seems like I never will feel better again but i will given TIME!!
Sorry that William is still gone. But maybe with the help all is going to be fine.
We have had good weather here too. I am mostly working so miss some of it. Yesterday I did get to sit on the front porch in the sun for a bit.
MS. Fran is probably still sitting on those chairs on her front porch watching over you and your animals. You suppose?

I never knew you were sick...I think you were so busy taking care of others and doing so much that I didn't catch on to the fact you were sick....glad to know you are on the mend...but please take it easy...b/c I have heard and know first hand some of the "bugs" going around like to come back for another visit. Know you are in my prayers.

William must be really ready to get back on the road and home again...as well I know you are missing him, too. Hoping that happens very soon...what good friends Terry and Carol have been...nothing better than good friends in our times of need!

Thinking about you and the goats...so glad you posted some pics...they are just adorable.

Hope all is getting back to normal for you and I know Miss Fran is smiling down upon you each and every day...what a dear you were to her.

Oh!!...and I almost forgot...love your new header and blog design...very summery and cheerful!!
Blessings...

Peggy,

I love the photos of the goats. The boys and I sure miss having the goats when we visit the farm. There is only one left now and they have made the decision to keep only that one. The others went to petting farms. They are going to concentrate on raising horses. The boys and I were both a bit disappointed. They still have some cattle, sheep, kittens and chickens, but the goats had such great personalities.

Enjoyed my visit, as usual. I have farm photos up today so if you'd like to see some of the horses and you have time, please drop by.

Blessings for a great weekend.
Mary
