Sunny Day

Beautiful day sunny warm day! William made it home in time for a good ole country breakfast. Biscuits, gravy, eggs, steak and potatoes. He also brought his dirty laundry home which I was able to get done before he headed to New Jersey this afternoon. William got to see Mandy, Baby, Huey, Duey and Louey. He fell in love with them. We also decided to put Sweet Pea on a bottle several times a day. Her siblings are twice as big as she is. Though Sweet Pea eats grain and hay really well she doesn't nurse very much. She doesn't want to fight her siblings for a teat. With the extra feedings she should start picking up in weight soon. We cleaned out Williams truck and made a quick run to the thrift shop. William's work pants were getting thread bare so we picked up 5 pair pants, 4 shirts, 2 cases of canning jars and a pair of sandals (for me) and only spent $12. After William left I made lotions and finished up a soap order I will deliver tomorrow. I gave Sweet Pea her evening bottle and now am ready for a early night. Have a blessed night!

So happy to hear that William is back on the road.

Sounds like you got some good deals at the thrift store!!! I had someone come pick me up and we went to a garage sale yesterday. I found some deals too. I love the pictures of your house.

You know, sis, I had never had biscuits and gravy until a couple of years ago when Steve & I were in Niagara Falls and crossed into the States...we found a Bob Evans nearby and ordered those. Omigosh, we both loved them so much and now always make sure we go have our biscuits and gravy every trip! lol Aren't thrift shops the best thing ever...you and William really did good:-) Poor little Sweetpea, I do pray she'll be ok...I know she's being well taken care of by you!! xoxo
