Surprise, Surprise, Surprise

ViVi decided to go ahead and deliver this 6lb 3oz buckling a little earlier than we expected. But what do we know. Went out to feed and milk this morning and was met by this handsome kid and mom. ViVi had him all cleaned up and nursed before I even knew she had him. What a good mom. The goats we bought from Rosie are true Tennessee mountain goats and need to teach my flatlander sissy goats a few things. Since the baby is a grandson of Nitro we want to use part of his name and call the new addition Willow. I think Nitro would be proud.

Peggy- did you ever send in Leonard's registration with ADGA?

When you do, you will be able to register/record all of Rosie's young girls (as 50% Nubians)who were sired by him so you can grade up to American Nubian, and then all the kids you get from Diva and Sammy from him can be registered as purebred Nubians. I've looked at Diva's pedigree and she would be a good linebreeding with Leonard.

I have Phoebe here and am really keen to get her registration in with ADGA but cannot until you send in Leonard's registration paperwork, then I will need a service memo from you.

Such a nice idea! I was thinking of the possibility of using part of Nitro's name before I even got to the end of the post. I think that's very sweet. And what a gorgeous little one!

I think we would all like such a beautiful surprise in the morning. I have a feeling Nitro can see him and he is SMILING and "popping his buttons". Cannot think of a better human mother to help with the baby.
