Day Four

The grands helped bag and tag a couple of soap orders for me. They also helped pour candles. We delivered a wholesale order, stopped at the post office to mail a order. Went by the grocery store to pick up some fruits for snacking and a couple things. Came home, had lunch, played a game of scrabble. Kristine and Hope cleaned my soap shop so well I hardly recognise it. They are spending the night out there. They also helped me give the kids their shots. All the grands went swimming in the rain and then rode bikes. We had homemade pizza for supper and they played a few boardgames but were so tired they were asleep before 10pm. Lots of chores and fun on the schedule for tomorrow. Except for running out of towels every day and not being able to take a shower without hearing someone calling grandma I am loving having them here. They have been a big help and lots of company for this old lady. I sure don't have any problem falling asleep at night either!

I love that your grandkids are enjoying the same kind of activities that I did at their age. I so often get the impression that kids nowadays are so wired into technology that they don't know how to amuse themselves without it.
