Day Three and All is Well

After chores there were bike rides, working on the puzzle, having lunch at CiCi's Pizza. After they got all their laundry folded and put away it was time to cool off. Lots of water fights till it was time for afternoon chores and supper. Now all are settled down. Some are playing Old Maid and some are playing scrabble. Kristine and Hope had fun catching John Henry the rooster. He had went on the property behind us and they spent a good while chasing a rooster with a net. They didn't give up but wouldn't let me take pictures.

I found your blog through Lib's. I like what I see as I am an animal lover, too! I just read all your posts on this entire page and like what I saw!!! How many goats do you have??? I have 33 cats, all indoors!!! Most are rescues, and some are still feral, but I am working on them every day to tame them.

I have always been fascinated with goats. We had different animals while growing up but never had any goats. I even raised chickens as a kid, too!

I love that the kids are all having a real blast of a time there, too! That's what summer is all about for kids....FUN at Grandma's house!!!

I love the banjo music, too! My daughter plays banjo quite well. She loves Bluegrass.

I shall return!!! Drop by and pay me a visit sometime!

Everyone sems to have found a niche of activity today. For me, I would love to be doing a jig saw puzzle. When I left the US I left behind with a neighbour family my collection if puzzles, some hand crafted by an man in South Carolina. I miss them from time to time.

I am loving these visits to Grandma's bootcamp. I think a lot of the problems with the chil;dren today is they are lacking any sort of structure in their life.

You have to be firm with those two girls now, and tell them part of the boot camp rules is that they have to let you take pictures when they are trying to catch the rooster.

Big hugs Peggy.

Hi Peggy. All the Grands look as if they are having a great time. Just think, they will tell their grandchildren all about the wonderful times spent there, someday!
