The Grands Are Here!!

You wore em' You wash em'

You cook em' You eat em' You wash your plate

Hey kids, Chores is more than playing with the baby goats!

So you're hot and sweaty are you? Well let grandma cool you off!

A day of doing laundry, doing chores, riding bikes, roasting hotdogs, doing dishes, getting soaked, playing board games has this bunch tired. I think they will be asleep real soon.

That looks SO REFRESHING!! I could use a good cooling off today - yesterday was worse, but it caught up with me today! LOL Those youngins' look like they are having FUN at your place!

I love the fact that you do your wash in an old ringer washer! When I was growing up we did the same thing and the close were cleaner I think!!

Thanks for the comment and encouragement. I am going to start doing certain types of posts on the certain day of the week - maybe, ok I would like to do that so we will see! LOL

Have a great night!!!

Now I would bet money that if these same grands were told to wash their clothes at home or do the dishes..... they would do it but without the smiles and giggles. At least that is how it works with mine. What is "hard work" at home is fun at G'ma and g'pa's house..... lol

Have a wonderful time Peggy.

I am so glad you have the company of the kids and even though they are a lot of work they also are a lot of help if you handle them right and I think you are.

Congratulations!!!

Have loads of fun!!

Teach them little yay hoos to milk!

RE: your comment on my blog.

It seems your oldest grands may be outgrowing long visiting with grandma. They have "important" lives of their own. This is as it should and must be.
They might enjoy shorter visits in the future.

BUT you can count on it they will someday tell their children and their grandchildren what wonderful times they had with you and what a great person you were. You shaped their lives and enriched their souls.
