This blog is a journal of the simple living on a small 2 and a half acre farm. The ups and downs. The good and the not so good. Adventures of Hidden Haven animals and some of my own. The sharing of our frugal, hardworking, attempt to be as self sufficient as possible. Please stop by often as we love company!
Looks like you kept the Grands busy ~~~ a little work never hurt anybody , my GrandDaddy used to say. I'm thankful , he taught me that and your GrandKids will be thankful one day too.
things are always hoppin' at the Homestead. I just know these visits with grandma are some very special memories these kids are accumulating. (chores or not). They are learning so much about animals and cooperation and doing for themselves. All in the midst of the menagerie and your love! Now that's a good summer for kids I think! As usual you are busy busy busy....and new births right and left. Have you perfected bottling your energy to sell yet? I've been bad about commenting on blogs but trying hard to get at it again. I have a new blog home, I hope you'll stop by some time!! Love and hugs, Lisa XOXO
Loved the pics AND the captions! What an education you are providing for your grandchildren! So good for children to learn how to care for animals properly. Plus, I'm sure they were having fun at the same time, too!
I love this! Seeing the grandkids having fun even while working! What an experience you are giving them! Too bad more kids in the world couldn't share the same! I've enjoyed your blog and will come back shortly to finish reading more!

Have your grandchildren threatened to check out the child labour laws in your state yet?
I think a day on the homestead is equal a whole year of public school. What they're learning and experiencing is worth so very much.
Good on ya ! :)
