Goodbye Sheri and Family

My friend Sheri and her sweet family headed toward their Texas home today. We had a nice visit even though it rained almost the whole time they were here. Had a terrible storm this morning. Lighting was popping right on top of us. Lights went off several times but we survived and had breakfast. Alec had fun target shooting with the BB guns. Ward enjoyed watching Fred the turkey and Harry and Harry the polish roosters. Sheri and I enjoyed talking and catching up. She has visited several homestead forum families and is heading to visit another before going home. One day I would like to visit some blog and forum friends. Wonder what they would think seeing me pull up with a van of goats. LOL

Peggy, I would hug your neck and then show you where the goat hotel is on our farm. =)

Peggy, I would really LOVE to meet you but knowing this silly neighborhood that we live in they would look way down on your goats!! We cannot seem to do anything right here for all the covenants. I think it is so wonderful that you do not have to worry about those things. I would love to meet you hopefully someday..SAndy

I would LOVE to see you pull up in my driveway, even with a van full of goats! lol My grass needs cutting anyway! hehe I'm so glad Sheri and her family were able to come visit you and that you had such a lovely time:-) We've been having some gorgeous weather...sunny and warm. It's much cooler at nights now but at least the days are warming up to the mid 70's so I'm happy:-) Love you sis! xoxo

LOL, I would probably love having a van full of goats here Peggy too and I think our goats would enjoy it as well even though they are Mini-Nubians!

Can them there goats stay comfy on a deck in New York City? Maybe not. You'll have to visit us when we're in the Adirondacks!

You can pull up here any day and bring the babies for sure!
What I had ask was if you ever made a baby soap? I have two grandsons with very tender skin.

Glad you had such a lovely visit! That storm sounds rough. We only got a much needed gentle rain here with no storms.

Bring the goats and head on over! I just left Pea a comment and told her that when she comes to visit you she can stop here and pick me up and I'll come with her! Sounds like a good plan to me! :)
