Pea made this for her blog friends. I just love my adopted Sis!
The house is clean. The outside chores are done for the day. The laundry is done. Supper is cooked and warming in the oven. Our guests should be here soon. I can't wait. Its been a few years since I saw Sheri and family but now I will have a couple of days instead of a couple of hours. I still have soap orders to get out and soap to make but I can do that inbetween visiting. William is still in CA but hopes to be on the road home soon. The animals have settled down from having kids around all summer and no longer try to stampede me for cookies. Its actually cooler today so windows and doors are open for the wonderful fresh air. We are suppose to get rain tonight and for the next couple of days. The grands are all back in school now. I hope they have lots of stories to tell about their adventures at Hidden Haven. They seemed happy to be going back to school and seeing friends. They are also talking about next summer and what they want to do here. Looks like I will have a crew of hired hands to work. Just a nice day to count my blessings and be happy. Life has slowed down just a tad and I am really happy about that!

First of all the music that you have on here right now, made me weep... Where did you find it? 'come home' is one of my favorites and I have told the Milk Man that if I die first I want that at my funeral - and I want a recording of Elvis Presly singing Peace in the Valley.....

BUT - what a great post, the feeling of being 'settled' is wonderful isnt it? Just hangning out for the day because you can - relaxing, waiting for friends and knowing you have a great meal planned for everyone is so rewarding!!! Have a great time this evening!

We are getting some much needed rain today. It's been falling gently about all afternoon and evening. Just perfect!

I know it must be quiet without all the Grands around. You have a mighty handsome and cute bunch. I know you are proud of each one.
Just think, next year they all will be a year older and wiser. The making of experienced summer farm hands.
Have a great day!

I am popping in to say Goodnight Peggy. Sickness is still surrounding us but our positivity is looming and we shall be better soon. Sweetdreams!
