Fred, The Weather Turkey

The weatherman on TV called for frost warnings tonight. I of course had to go check with Fred. If it was going to be cold enough for frost he would not be on the roof of the chicken house. Well looks like the weatherman may be right for once.

Not only was Fred roosting with the chickens, he was right in the middle of them so they would keep him warm! I have a nice fire going in the stove. The kettle is heating up for a cup of hot chocolate. The rocking chair is calling my name. Have a blessed night!

You'll have to let us know if Fred and the Weatherman were right.

Peggy,

Fred is smart. He knows where to go to keep warm.

It was cold, windy and rainy here yesterday. Today was a little better but still quite cold. It is to get warmer over the weekend with rain.

Take care and stay warm.

Blessings,
Mary

I'll be right over for a cup of that hot chocolate! Sounds so cozy, sis!! We've had heavy frost the last couple of mornings and right now the temperature is 30F, supposed to be going down to about 20F!! Fred has the right idea of roosting in the middle of the chickens! lol Love ya! xoxo

We need a Fred here too, our poor weatherman admitted on live TV that he can no longer predict the weather, only tell us what's going on at the moment :)

I hope evening was a wonderful one ! a warm fore and a cup'o sounds excellent.

It is cool here too. At 4:30 this morning I was enjoying the clear crips air as Heidi had her constitutional. The stars were lovely with no clouds or moon.
The heavens were there to enjoy and celebrate.

I'm with Fred. This cool days are quiet a change from a few days ago when it was 87 degrees.
I've had a fire going around here too. It really knocks the chill off.
Have a great day.
