Lavender and a Clean Kitchen!

I received a big package from Rosa yesterday. When my UPS man came he told me he waited as long as he could to deliver the package because it made his truck smell so good. Rosa sent me lavender she had grown herself! My lavender has never looked or smelled as wonderful. She even sent me rosemary so today I am making soaps. I am making lots of lavender soap and lots of rosemary soaps. My soap shop smells awesome! I finally finished decluttering and cleaning the kitchen. It feels so relaxing to work in a organised kitchen and be able to reach for something without something else falling out the cabinet. Now what do I do with all the stuff I took out of the cabinets and have sitting on a table on my back porch??? LOL

Melody was in pain last night but is doing lots better this morning. She is looking forward to going home to her own bed later today. Joseph took the day off work to take care of her and make sure she takes it easy. Melody says thank you to everyone for all the prayers and thoughts.

I love your blog!!! I was going to just read, smile, and leave, but I thought I would leave a note and not be such a "lurker". I was just forced to clean and organize my kitchen, and I had to laugh...I wonder, too, now what I will do with all the "stuff" I have piled in my shed (removed from the kitchen). Your pictures are great! I fell in love with your goats, too! (I have goats).

Dear Peggy, thank you so very much for the patterns. I am so excited to receive them. I was in my sewing room this morning and was looking at the area where I plan to display them. I just can't wait and I am so grateful to you for your kindness and generosity!

Well look at that decluttered kitchen of yours, sis!! Great job!! I did all that to my cupboards as well a couple of weeks ago and as you said, it's so nice not having something fall on my head every time I open a cupboard door. Oh wow, I can well imagine how wonderful your soap shop is smelling with that fresh lavender and rosemary...taking a biggggg sniff!!! xoxox

Peggy,

I have been praying for Melody and am glad she is through her surgery fine.

Thank you for your kind words of support on my post about Aunt May. I'm just getting ready to go to spend a few hours with her. Mom & I were there about 4 hours today, but no one can sit with her overnight. I'll do my best.

Love and blessings,
Mary

Mrs. Peggy...your cupboards look awesome! Here you are all done and I'm still in process!
Enjoy that lavendar...I've tried and tried to grow some lavendar and for some reason I just have never been successful at it. Maybe your friend can let us know the secret!
