Prayers

Edited to add Melody came through surgery fine and is back in her room resting. Megan says she is hurting right now but I am sure they will or have given her something and she will sleep most of the afternoon. Thank you for your prayers and thoughts!

My son-in-laws grandmother died this morning. She was a very sweet lady that reminded me a lot of Miss Fran. She still drove herself everywhere. Kept a beautiful home. Loved playing with her great grandchildren and had a wonderful laugh. She never met a stranger and was always friendly and nice to everyone. There is one big celebration going on in heaven right now because they just got one very special angel. Please keep Brian, Megan and the rest of the family in your prayers. They are having a hard time dealing with her death.
Melody is at the hospital right now. Her surgery is this morning. She is in great spirits and ready to get it over with. Megan is going to call me as soon as the surgery is over. Melody just has to stay overnight and will be able to go home tomorrow. She had plenty of leave days saved up at work so will be able to take the time to rest and heal without worrying about the office. When I hear from Megan I will update this post but in the meantime please say a prayer for Melody.

Peggy, I am so sorry to hear of the loss. But, like you said, there is a wonderful celebration going on in Heaven. I will continue to say my prayers for Melody. I know everyone looks forward to this chapter being behind. I'm happy she will be able to stay home for a while. I wasn't allowed to drive for four weeks! And at the time, we lived on the third floor of an apartment building so I didn't get out too much. But, like I said, after I mended, I felt so much better. Her iron levels will get better and she will have so much energy! Even my hormonal replacement was a breeze. So, tell her to hang in there. There is a bright light at the end of the tunnel for her! Big hugs. xo

Hello sis:-)

I think I'm finally going to have a quiet couple of days this week...Ross is coming out of the hospital tomorrow so I won't have to keep bringing mom to the hospital and staying there for hours on end! lol Today I also brought her grocery shopping so she's all set for the week:-) I've really missed being able to visit all my blogging friends but now I should be back on track!!

My prayers are with Melody...I'm so glad to hear that the surgery went well and that she'll be home tomorrow. I pray that she will have a full recovery and be 100% again:-)

So very sad about the loss of your SIL's grandma, my prayers are with their family as well. As you say, God has just gotten another special angel to keep Him company.

Love you sis. xoxo
