This blog is a journal of the simple living on a small 2 and a half acre farm. The ups and downs. The good and the not so good. Adventures of Hidden Haven animals and some of my own. The sharing of our frugal, hardworking, attempt to be as self sufficient as possible. Please stop by often as we love company!

Caroling Hayride and Christmas Parade
Each year we always go on a caroling hayride. This year we also wanted to go to Parrotsville's Christmas parade. We decided to combine them and do our caroling on the way to and from the parade. We had a ball singing carols and watching the parade. Parrotsville is a tiny beautiful town near my daughter Maggie.

How fun that you got to ride in the back and sing on the way to the parade!!
Oh how I miss the small town parade. It has been years. It looks like so much fun.
You sent me scrambling to find the pictures I took years ago of our town Santa Clause Parade: three floats, a school marching baton group and the government fire truck. Often there were as many people in the parade a watching!
Looks like y'all ahd a blast but I'm confused, you live in NC but you're in parade in TN. I thought the gang was at your house.
Hey Peggy,
I Love this! What wonderful memories!
