This blog is a journal of the simple living on a small 2 and a half acre farm. The ups and downs. The good and the not so good. Adventures of Hidden Haven animals and some of my own. The sharing of our frugal, hardworking, attempt to be as self sufficient as possible. Please stop by often as we love company!
I was going in to rake the dwarf pen when "CC" jumped up on her moms back and just stood there. Mandy didn't seem to mind. "CC" is part Nubian so is going to get bigger than her mom soon and I think Mandy will change her mind.
Cute Story, Peggy... Christmas Cocoa must be a true Mountain Girl. Think she needs to visit us here in TN...
Dumb question from one who has no clue about goats. Do the daddies have anything to do with the babies? Do they even know which ones are theirs???? Seems as if the Mamas do all of the work. Thanks!
Thats how I see the sheep when Im driving down the highway. Thats so cute. I wonder why they do that, I guess they want to be carried like any other baby:)
Hi Peggy! How fun to see little Miss CC getting big and climbing on her mom! I have been wondering how she is. I sounds like you've been really busy there with all the new babies! Tell her that her godmommy says hi adn give her a hug for me!...Debbie

Too cute, we had some of our goat kids do that too and we had a bottle baby that would jump up on my back!
I want some goat babies.
That's so cute!!
They must be very nimble to balance like that!
