Sammi's Girls

Since it was a frosty January dawn when Sammi had her darlings William and I decided that would make good names!

At least Jan isn't sleeping with her head bent backwards though she still sleeps alot.

For all those asking about the sweaters. They are doggy sweaters! Size small is perfect for their little bodies and help keep them warm. Sammi got chilled while kidding so I gave her warm molasses water and covered her with a blanket fresh from the dryer. She also got a injection of B12 and some probios which will help get her over the stress of kidding. She and the girls are all snuggled down in their closed stall in fresh straw. I put a heat bulb in the overhead light to give them some warmth during this cold snap. Sonya and DiDi are moved to the maternity pen and have a heat light ready for when they kid. Diva and the twins are all snuggled down in fresh straw in their closed stall. Hopefully tonight will be a quiet night and we all will get some much needed sleep. Stay warm everyone!!

I love the names! Very pretty and fitting too. Little dog sweaters, what a great idea, I never thought of that!

Oh Peggy--I'm so happy that everyone is doing well.Love the names for the girls. How do you pick names??? Sounds like this time, you picked the night (or morning) when they were born. It was a Frosty night--close to Dawn in January. How's that???? LOVE IT.

Please get some rest. You've had alot of hard work these last couple of weeks.

Keep us posted on the next births.
Hugs,
Betsy

Nice names, we use old sweatshirts since they get tangled up in sweaters like that though or the momma takes it off them!

Dawn doesn't appear to have the white spot on her head. I love baby animals, goats are so cute. Im seriously going to get me baby goat and keep her in my house:) Justin would have me committed if he came home to house full of farm animals:)

Peggy,

I just absolutely love the kids. I think Frosty is soooo cute, although they are all beautiful.

Great names for the kids. I'm glad that Sammi and the triplets are all snug and cozy for the night. That heat lamp will sure help them out. Like us, animals feel the frigid temperatures.

Take care and try to get some sleep. You must be exhausted.

Blessings to all,
Mary
