Blog Friend and Teas From Kuma's Mom

Sunday Tracy and I met last year when she came to visit her son at Ft. Bragg. This year she came with her sons mother in law to take the grandkids back to Texas for a couple of weeks. Tracy and family came over Sunday afternoon for a visit. William grilled out hamburgers and hotdogs and Tracy made a awesome banana pudding. We had a nice visit but I hope next time Tracy can come spend a day. I made sure when they left she didn't have Tiny Tina in her purse!
This afternoon I opened the mailbox to see a package. I wasn't expecting anything so was surprised to see Kuma's mom had sent me teas and a beautiful tea cup and saucer. She and her family read my blog and found out I am a tea addict. Teas from all over Europe and the tea set is from France! Aren't I the lucky one! I am so looking forward to tonight so I can sit in the rocker by the fire and have a nice cuppa tea. My only problem is which to try first. I think I will try the Goodnight Herb Tea from Denmark. Thank you so much Debi for the wonderful tea package! I am so in heaven right now. I gave Kuma a hug and kiss from you. She and Lady are buddies. They pal around the pen together giving Tramp and Sheba a little attention now and then but enjoy playing with each other or napping side by side.
Tomorrow evening I hope to post a picture of a female we are bringing home for a arranged marriage here on the homestead...... stay tuned!

Hi Peggy, I hope to see your gorgeous farm myself someday--if we ever get over your way. It is so wonderful to have met so many wonderful friends through this blogging. I've only been doing it a short time but already feel as if I have life-long friends.

Have a great evening with your cuppa tea.
Hugs,
Betsy
P.S. Can't wait to hear about arranged marriage!!!!

Hi Peggy :)
What a nice gift you got in the mail :)

This isn't going to be one of those shotgun weddings is it?

I'll be back to read more about it :)

I'd like to put Tiny Tina in my purse!!!
I'm a avid tea drinker too. I only drink herbal tea though. So good and like you, I love to sip on a cup in the evenin'. Hope you have a good one.

I love PG tips tea! It's my one vice during pregnancy. If you try a tea and it doesn't taste good, always blame the water first. I just learned that recently and different waters really do make a difference.

I love that 'arranged marriage' comment! Yesterday one of the neighbors yearling calves broke into our field, poor dear. She really REALLY wanted a bull, BUT she got 73 females just about ready to birth! Of course all the females tried to help her out....it just didn't work.

The neighbor came and got her. If he doesn't get a bull soon she will break out again...

I made it home safe and sound. I am sorry too that I was not able to spend a whole day with you. I can't seem to tear myself away from my son when he is home and having no car is limiting. But I am glad we made it out for a little while. I think I will sleep for a month. And trust me....I really thought hard about sneaking out to the pen and snatching up tiny tina! She is beyond cute and so are all of the babies.

I love the tea set. How fun!
