A Bride for Sir Fred

Word spread throughout the kingdom of Hidden Haven that Sir Fred was ready to marry again. His lovely wife Lady Ginger had been gone for 2 years and it was time to move on. Sir Fred ask his friends to put out the word. He was looking for a very special bride and nothing else would do. Word spread beyond the kingdom of Hidden Haven to the land of Boone. Lady Joanna from the kingdom of BooneDocksWilcox told some of her friends about Sir Fred. Soon it was decided to arrange a marriage between Lady Tessa from the Land of Boone and Sir Fred of Hidden Haven. Travel plans were made to go and escort Lady Tessa to her new home. After a long ride Lady Tessa finally arrived at Hidden Haven. Her first meeting with Sir Fred showed him a little shy. Soon Sir Fred was strutting his stuff for his betrothed. He wanted to show her how handsome he was and let her know how beautiful she was to him. Alas Elvis was next door and caught Lady Tessa's eye. She thought Elvis was so handsome and could not tear herself away from him.

This upset Sir Fred so much he told Elvis to go away and made Lady Tessa walk away from Elvis. Sir Fred told Lady Tessa he loved her and wanted to make her life here at Hidden Haven a happy one as his wife. Lady Tessa agreed to marry Sir Fred but told him she would always have a place in her heart for Elvis.

Cute story but in turkeydom the ladies are in charge. Miss hen is trying to let mr rooster know SHE is in charge. If she gets in with him she will attack him till he submits to her authority. Just ask my Mr Rooster Sir.;)It seems the Bourbon Red hen have a stronger need for authority than the others.

Cute Cute story, Peggy... At first when you talked about having a wedding, I thought you might be bringing a mate for one of your Soay Sheep women since Charlie had been 'fixed.'

Good Lucky to Sir Fred... Keeping Lady Tessa from Elvis will be a big job!!! BUT--I'm sure that ole Freddie can do it.

Have a wonderful evening.
Hugs,
Betsy

Elvis is a handsome specimen - no wonder Lady Tessa's head was turned. Who can resist the KING, after all? :)

Great story!

Peggy,

A delightful love story. Let us know how it unfolds. I hope Sir Fred and Tessa will be very happy together.

Sorry I haven't been by to visit lately. That puppy is keeping me busy. He's a ball of energy and I'm in my 60th year. The energy levels don't match well. How in the world do you do all the things around the farm that need to be done? I definitely need a bit of your energy.

Hope you have a great week.
Blessings,
Mary

Oh! poor Elvis. "I have been there done that" as the saying goes: loving the unattainable.
