This blog is a journal of the simple living on a small 2 and a half acre farm. The ups and downs. The good and the not so good. Adventures of Hidden Haven animals and some of my own. The sharing of our frugal, hardworking, attempt to be as self sufficient as possible. Please stop by often as we love company!
I enjoyed these photos very much! Looks like William got home and you had a few minutes to walk around and enjoy the nicer weather. Hope you both have a good weekend.
I guess I hadn't payed much attention to William's truck when I saw it - it's huge! That's a good looking rig! The hay cart goats are so precious. And Elvis too. But don't tell him I used the word "precious."
To build your pens do you build a wooden frame first then add the fencing ? and are there tops on the poulrty pens ? and are the posts buried or freestanding ?
Great pictures, Peggy! Your farm looks like such a comfortable and friendly place. I don't think that I have ever seen pictures of happier animals in my life. I just keep picturing your animals spending their days whistling and humming contentedly to themselves. You are clearly a good momma to them all!
Love the rig! Peggy do you know any thing about caring for a starving kitten? One showed up on my porch and my friend that usually gives me advice is caring for her sick mom.
She is about 3 to 4 months old and she is a feral. She showed in my cat house I have on my front porch. She is very bony and she smelled like fish so I gave her a bath and a dose of de-wormer. I will get her in the vet asap

Peggy doesn't post nearly as many.
I don't know why. She has all kinds of spare time. LOL!
