This blog is a journal of the simple living on a small 2 and a half acre farm. The ups and downs. The good and the not so good. Adventures of Hidden Haven animals and some of my own. The sharing of our frugal, hardworking, attempt to be as self sufficient as possible. Please stop by often as we love company!
Spring certainly has arrived at Hidden Haven....it's snowing here again today so I really think Mother Nature has forgotten about us! lol Loved all the pictures, sis, the chicks are so darling, as are the bunnies:-) Love ya sis. xoxo
The babies are so precious. I have been visiting a young farmer mom( Chessychick.wordpress.com) that had a barn fire and lost some creatures. The next day they found a baby goat hiding under a bush. Th ekids named him Lucky. He seems to be helping them to cope.
I love your photos of all the newborn critters on the farm. Those goslings are adorable and I remember how protective geese are when their young are hatched.
I would think that trimming 19 goat's hooves would be a big chore. Farm life is very busy in springtime.
Hope you're enjoying your days. Sunday was a beautiful day but yesterday we had snow and rain and it's still snowing a little this morning. I would love to be visiting you and interacting with all of the animals right now.

Thanks Peggy for the encouraging words:) The baby chicks are so cute. How long do they sit on the eggs and how do they feed the babies.
I especially love the nubian in pink!
Love your pictures and the new goslin's are adorable.
Everyone looks relaxed there on the farm, all except the ones getting their hooves trimmed!
