A Visit From Pickles!
DiDi's son came for a visit yesterday evening. Well he came for his pedicure (hoof trim) and ended up getting a injection. He wasn't very happy with me after the shot. He had the sniffles so we gave him a little something to help. Pickles was raised on a bottle by a nice young military couple. He thinks he is a dog and loves playing and sleeping with their dogs. He sleeps in a dog crate just like their other dogs and loves it. He also gets baths and smells so good when he comes for a visit. When his human mom and dad go on vacation Pickles is going to come stay with us. We will have a dog crate ready for him on the back porch since he doesn't want anything to do with the goats. DiDi comes up to the fence every time Pickles is here but Pickles rather go to the dog pen and talk with "other" dogs. I can't wait for Pickles to spend a few days with us.

Awww, too sweet!
Hi Peggy,
Awwwww.....What a Lovely Post!
Have a Great Good Fri., and a Blessed Easter!
Blessins',Lib
Aweeeeeee Peggy... He's a "Goat-Dog"... Isn't it interesting how animals--just like humans---get used to their environment???? Of course Pickles doesn't think of himself as a goat... That's so cute!!!!!! Hope you could 'cure' his sniffles--or else, you'll have to change his name from Pickles to Sniffles... har Har HAR...
Hugs,
Betsy
How funny that Pickles thinks she is a dog...if she is around goats for awhile will she get the message? I call my granddaughters Pickle. (o:
Certainly makes one ponder on Nature or Nurture!
He is gorgeous.
Pickles is a very handsome goat/dog. I have never bathed a goat. I wonder if they will act like cats if kept in a home with them?

I've always thought PICKLES was a cute name. Glad you can care for him while they are on vacation.
That is interesting and funny... Pickles is such a cute name...and I'm sure you never mention that he's a goat in front of him...I love this story....LOL... have a HAPPY EASTER Peggy....judy
Pickles is so very, very handsome. Glad he has so many playmates and fits right in. I bet that sight is a conversation piece when they go in their crates.
Love it.
Hugs,
I am so jealous! I'd love to have a goat to go along with my dogs!!!
Did they train him that way or did he decide he was a dog. Thats so funny. And I thought it was funny when Lea trained our cat Fiesty to sit, lay down and fetch.
I just wanted to stop by and wish you a really Blessed Happy Easter.
