Here is a photo of the lap quilt and pillow I found thrift storing yesterday. The rocking chair belonged to my elderly neighbor Fran. It was her mothers and when Fran married she gave it to her. Fran gave it to her daughter Vicki who had it in her storage shed until she let it come home with me. So I have three of my favorite finds looking like they belong together!I love visiting Marci's blog. She like me loves the homesteading life. She is a fantastic photographer so always has wonderful photos to go with her posts. I call her the butterfly lady as people find and bring her caterpillar's that she feeds and watches over until they become beautiful butterflies. Reading her posts are almost as good as spending the day with her.
Alice takes the most awesome trips! And since I can't go with her I drool on my key board while looking at her photos. She also is one of the best gardners you will find!
