Linda played a letter game and I requested a letter from her so I could play. She gave me the letter "C". I have to write 10 things in my life that start with the letter C. If you would like to play leave a comment and I will give you a letter.

Okay C…..
1. Children I have 3 wonderful daughters that I am very proud of. They are married and have given me 9 fantastic grandchildren.
2. Christmas.. Is my favorite holiday of all! I love the family weekend Christmas and the time we spend together. I love sitting with the grandchildren while the Happy Birthday Jesus book is read and we sing Happy Birthday. I love listening as they read their birthday wishes for Jesus. Brings tears to my eyes every year.
3. Christ... He has been in my heart and life since July 1962. He gives me strength, courage, and loves me unconditionally.
4. Cooking... I love to cook! Love to take try new recipes and love to cook the recipes from grandmas, mother and aunts.
5. Cat... Love my cat Whiskers. He was my mothers cat until she got ill. I talk to him about mother and he will sit and look at me and listen like he remembers too.
6. Chocolate... I am a chocolate fiend! I love hot chocolate, Pea's chocolate candies, any chocolate. When I am stressing give me chocolate!!
7. Candles .... I love making candles and have them all around the house.
8. Cantaloupe... could eat it 24-7. Love it!!
9. Caring... I love caring for my animals, caring for my family, and enjoying showing I care for others by helping in anyway I can.
10. Cancer... Has been a big part of my life. My dad died from lung cancer, my mother from liver cancer, my sister from melanoma. My step dad from kidney cancer, 2 father in laws died from cancer. Uncles, close friends, there has just been too much so I hope that C word doesn't show its ugly head again.

I have been tagged to do a meme by Amy. I am suppose to post 6 random things about me and then pick 6 people to tag. As always I don't know who has been tagged and who hasn't. Consider yourself tagged if you would like to do the meme. Now 6 random things about me.
1. Love to smell coffee but can't stand the taste.
2. Its not Thanksgiving for me unless I watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Watched every year with my mother and just kept the tradition.
3. If one of the animals is sick, hurt, etc I go out every hour or so during the night to make sure they are okay.
4. My favorite cake is black walnut with chocolate frosting (made from scratch)
5. I keep forgetting how old I really am and have to stop for a second to figure it out. I really don't feel that old!
6. I hate driving at night. I can't see very well at night so get nervous if I have to drive anywhere after dark.

1. I am the baby of the family and to ask my siblings I was spoiled. I don't think so.

2.From a little girl I have always enjoyed being around animals. Seem drawn to the ones with special personalities.

3.Hot chocolate makes me sleepy. If I have a hard time going to sleep I make a cup of hot chocolate.

4.I have more fun being a grandma than I ever thought I would. I just wish I lived closer to the grands so I could spend more time with them.

5. Someday I want to live where it snows alot. Would like it to be on a mountain top in a cabin, like the grandpa in the story of Heidi. He had a cabin, snow and goats!

6. I love to read and have not read a book in several months. Thats very unusal for me. I have a stack of books waiting for me to read.
