Men!?!?

Does anyone ever understand men? William and I agreed we would downsize ALOT while we were clearing out and redoing the house in Fayetteville. Well he had a box of old army papers, maps and books from years ago that had lots of water damage due to the roof leak. I sorted and kept a couple books but the rest were damaged so off to the dump with them... good right? WRONG! He is now upset because I threw away survival books..... If he doesn't know how to survive by now its too late anyway! Its a good thing he is on the road and I am here. Maybe by the time he gets home he will have cooled down. In my book you can't downsize if you want to hang on to everything no matter what shape its in. From now on I am putting his stuff in the back of the storage building and when he gets down there he can sort and figure out what to do with it.... it just won't come back inside! Smells like wet moldy books... yuk. If you have a book or hints on how to understand a man please pass it on....... Thanks

If he dosen't prise you over these things perhaps you need to get him a revised edition of that survival guide and send him on his way.

My wife has been 900 miles north all weekend. I tried to get all those things she hates to do done before she gets back.

The meals have been a bit less in quality but enough to sustain me. God I miss her. Hope he misses you. If not, head to the nearest book store.

I deal with a pack rat daily! Drives me nuts! He moved here five years ago and most of the boxes the movers packed up are STILL taped shut! You tell me, if he hasn't opened and unpacked a box after five years, does he NEED what is inside?! I think not....but there they sit...lined up in the middle of the garage that you cannot walk thru, much less park a car in! Arggghhh! He loves his "piles" and as much as I love him......he needs to take his piles elsewhere! "Neat, meet messy"..........and pray for peace!
