This blog is a journal of the simple living on a small 2 and a half acre farm. The ups and downs. The good and the not so good. Adventures of Hidden Haven animals and some of my own. The sharing of our frugal, hardworking, attempt to be as self sufficient as possible. Please stop by often as we love company!

Okay, I live in NC and we have had 2 heavy frosts here in the past week. We even had one night of temps down to 29 degrees so why have my flowers decided its spring? I was out doing the never ending raking when what do I spot? Blooming flowers and also my irises are popping up. I sure hope they don't decide to bloom too!!! Guess this 75 degree weather for 3 days is mixing everything up.

What a beautiful sight...out of the decaying leaves springs forth the purity of a new white daisy. Oh, I love it. There's a spiritial reminder there! Peggy, how fun that you are going to order some Justin Lloyd tea. It was fun for me to read that!! I think you will like it tremendously. Did you order from 'Coffehouse'? Just wondered. *hugs* to you friend.
our weather is crazy too - seems the world has gone mad in all depts.
Keep a check on those irises and maybe cover them at night
