Well, I have been outside covering up all the plants and flowers that have decided to pop their little heads up. This unusual warm weather has everything confused. Tomorrow we are suppose to get rain and then cold weather. A couple nights this week will be down to 29 so maybe the plants will go back to sleep til spring. I cleaned off a lot of useless stuff off the computer and updated my Norton virus protection. I even made a loaf of cinnamon bread, mailed out some postcards and got my stocking package all ready to mail. I have 8 hankies for the card swap and need to find a few more and get the cards ready to send out. Today I have kept busy but have also thought about my sister. Its also getting close my mother's birthday and this time last year was when she started getting too sick to eat. The holidays will be sad but also full of funny and happy memories that each of us will share about "Nannie" and Aunt "NayNay". My oldest daughter couldn't say Aunt Gaye and would say Nay Nay until she got old enough to say Aunt then it was Aunt NayNay. All of my sisters nieces and nephews still say Aunt NayNay when they talk about her.... She loved that nickname that Maggie gave her. So today has been busy but full of memories. I have also been talking to Megan about Christmas and the fun we are having finding second hand presents or making the gifts. Its so much more fun than shopping the mall and stores for a pricey new gift. Everyone have a great evening, tell your sister you love her, enjoy your memories and plan a fun stressfree Christmas!

Hi Peggy...your postcard is precious..love it! I just updated my Norton last night..what a coincidence! I still need some hankies too. thankfully, I know where I can get them at a nearby vintage store. They'll be a little dusty...but vintage *smiles*. I'm sorry for the sad memories with you and thankful we all have good memories that outnumber the sad ones. I like the idea of second-hand presents. A few years ago I bought my son an 'old' slide projector for one dollar at a yard sale and I felt like I had given him the moon! *hugs* my friend.

Hey Peggy, do you get snow there in the winter? How cold does it actually get?
